Hi, I’m Lauren Minchen.

I became a Registered Dietitian largely because of my love for all things health and wellness. But I don't just love healthy food and exercise. I have really needed them for my own health's sake. I struggled with an eating disorder in middle and high school, only to move through it and discover that I had a form of Multiple Sclerosis in my early 20s.

Understanding how nutrition works and how food impacts the human body revolutionized how I approached my own lifestyle. I hadn't come this far and conquered my eating disorder struggles only to let MS destroy my body. And so my nutrition journey began...

I earned my RD credential and a Masters in Public Health Nutrition from Hunter College and opened my private practice doors shortly thereafter. I've now been working in the nutrition field for over a decade. I love working with clients who are looking for a focused, sustainable lifestyle with food.

My specialties include digestive health, autoimmune conditions, and PCOS. I also love assisting clients with managing special diets, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and cardiovascular health. I take a hands-on approach, and I personalize each nutrition and meal plan for effectiveness and sustainability. I believe in real food and what it can do for the body. I encourage and motivate my clients, working closely with them as they make the necessary changes to meet their goals.

What I love most about nutrition is that it is unique to each person. It's customizable. It's not one-size-fits-all. While there are basic concepts that apply to just about everyone (eat your veggies!), nutrition should be personalized to support you in achieving your own invincible, inspired life.
